This page was made just to see if Pink tigers in Norwich would reach the number one spot for its search in Google and how long that will take. I would expect that it should not take too long, if I follow all the tricks I already know, but that remains to be seen.

I made this new page to make it easier for spiders to find it, than it would be to find a single post. I don’t really know if that helps, but Iogic says that it could. It’s also important to place the keywords like Pink tigers in Norwich in to the text for several times. The important thing is, to not flood the page with these keywords, but to include them in several times and with some tags. <i> and <b> are also good to remember to add and they should also contain these words. One of the other things that are good to remember are the header tags in pages. This has been done quite often at this page.

I will post here how fast my project is moving forward and what I learn I should add or do in addition to something else I have done here. You would expect that something like Pink tigers in Norwich would not return too many hits. It actually returned over 30.000 hits. It does bring some kind of clothing lines and some gay sites. I know that it’s really impossible to get in to the number one place with just ‘pink tigers’. ‘Pink tigers in norwich’ already is on number one position in Google, but the interesting thing is to try to raise the ranking of other search terms with time. Compared to keyword “daedana” this is a lot, I’m number one with this search word too. It returned just 3000 hits. I do think that none of these actually contain too exact form of the keywords, but it could still be much harder to do, than this “daedana” was to get on top of the search field. I’ll have to see what happens and hopefully my page will crawl to the top sooner or later. As I mentioned already, ‘pink tigers in norwich’ is on number one spot and ‘pink tigers’ is in top 10.

Why I wanted to add this header here is cause I don’t want to flood all the headers with keywords. And I don’t think that the keywords should be mentioned with bold, italiano or in plaintext in all paragraphs. It remains to bee seen how this goes. 7.7.2010 “Pink tigers in Norwich” can’t yet be found from Google

I tried searching this with Google, but I could not find my own page from the top 80 sites, so I gave it up. I’ll check again soon. Cause I don’t have anything on my sites that would get it crawled each day, the links from other more often crawled pages would be the best. I’ll just have to wait for a while and try this again then. I could add some inbound links to this page, but I doubt that it would have a huge effect.

Horay for Google and pink and tigers

Today Google ranked this page as number one with the search words ‘pink tigers in norwich’. One of the interesting things is that Bing didn’t yet recognice this and that not too many, most likely none at all pages link to this page. The page also appears in top10 if you search just with the words ‘pink tigers’. Very exciting and I’m hoping to learn more about this as I go on. This is the case now, but the things might change as the time passes. I’ll still look forward on this. One of the most interesting things is, that this page was found much quicker than my page originally was. It might have something to do with the fact, that it’s an extension to already marked page. What surprises me, is it’s success, even thought the first part of the URL is just http://www.daedana.co.uk/. This update was made on 07 July 2010.

In addition I’m really broud that my site pops up as the seconde best search result if you search for ‘Pink Norwich’ and it’s in the top 10 for ‘Pink Tigers’.

I really have to salute Google for finding a page like this in such short time. It really shows that we’re dealing with a mega size corporation. Even the facts that seem like unnecessary will be found and fast.

Right now I added some details to the all in one SEO pack plugins options on this page. There should now be some keywords on the meta part of the page and the page should have a easier to recognice title and so on.

Pink tiger picture

I think that we now have some real contents, that’s stuffed with keywords. Hopefully not too many of them. Pink tigers is mentioned here many times and I hope that it’s not too many times. Next I’ll add an picture of this creature. I hope that it’s not really pink does not bother anyone.

Notice that the picture itself does not matter. Search engines can’t see it, but what they can see is the name and caption of the picture. Too heavy flash animations or too large pictures are ones that aren’t really hoped but they just do happen some times. This picture was added to the site on 7 of July 2010.

Besides the picture, I also added a page or lens to Squidoo. This should help me a little with the rank. I’m hoping that crawlers will notice that this Squidoo page links to this page. It’s not much yet, but you can’t really hope for anything too great at this stage. Squidoo is a page that allows you to create these lenses for free. This lenses can also be linked to a certain page. In my case the picture of the pink tiger links to this page. There is many many places on the web where you can get “good” backlinks for free. This is certainly not the best, but about as certainly it’s not the worst. Oh, I almost forgot. I mentioned link to this page also on twitter. It does not do much, but who knows. These little things will cumulatively make my systems better. Not one alone does have a great impact, but many of these small things together make something.

Bing doesn’t even recognise this page yet. Ash does provide the same page at top 1 place. Not surprising, cause I remember that they use Googles systems(not as popular as google, but quite nice still). In Google it’s in the top 10 for searches for ‘pink tigers’ and ‘pink tigers in’. It’s on the number 1 spot if you search for ‘pink tigers in norwich’. I guess that this writing is already quite flooded with the keywords, so I should look out for that. Interesting thing is that pink norwich provides also a search where these site is in top 10. This update was made on eighth of seventh 2010. The results also change if you search just from UK. Then many other searches get this page to the number 1 spot.

Here we have another picture of a tiger, which has a “pink” hat in its mouth. Most things are named as they would be expected to and should be really good thinking of the search engines.

One of the easiest SEO tricks with artists can be found from P!nk. She used to go by the name Pink, but P!nk is much more SEO friendly word. I tried to look for pink in Spotify and then p!nk. I think everyone already knows the results of this query. This has been a quite common practice that musicians have had resently. First examble would be a Finnish band called Stam1na.
